Schrack Technik transformers are used for a wide variety of applications in the mobility and drive technology, for plant and mechanical engineering or, for example, in the rapidly growing field of renewable energies.Transformers are used for increasing (stepping up) or decreasing (stepping down) voltage in energy transfers.Stepping up allows appliances to be supplied with lower voltages.Isolation transformers with electrically isolated windings are used for protective isolation.

Your special advantages and features

  • They are available as single-phase control transformers 230/12 V AC, 230/24 V AC, 230/24 V AC incl. secondary fuse, 400/24 V AC, 230/230 V AC, 400/230 V AC incl. secondary fuse, 400/230 V AC and as control isolation transformer.
  • Resin dipped: the resin dipping protects the product against corrosion, improves the thermal properties e.g. by optimising heat dissipation. Also, the "coating” of the iron core considerably reduces the tendency to hum.
  • Welds: the yokes in small transformers are always welded to the limbs. In the case of small transformers of up to 1.6 kVA power rating, the base angles in the standard version are always welded to the limb of the transformer, over 1.6 kVA they are bolted.
  • Core laminations: only high-grade dynamo plates or cold-rolled core-oriented electrical steel sheets are used as core plates.
  • Windings: all windings are made of coated copper wires.
  • Insulation material class: the transformers are designed to meet insulation material class B. This means a maximum permissible continuous temperature of 130 °C.

Transformers

Einphasen Steuertransformator

The advantages of transformers are their compact design, low weight and low heating (high efficiency).

Possible areas of application are, for example, the power supply of low-voltage halogen lights (recessed in furniture) or as a power supply for light-emitting diodes (LEDs).

Transformers for everyday applications
With different input voltages of 230Vac and 400Vac, a very wide range of output voltages is available from 12Vac to 230Vac and 400Vac with outputs of up to 5kVA (higher outputs on request).
Transformer-based power supply units with AC and DC output power are also available.
