Secondary resistors, also called shunts or shunt resistors, are used to measure large DC currents by means of voltage drop.

The most important parts at the downstream side of the power distribution are the protective devices, such as miniature circuit breakers (MCB), residual current devices (RCD), and combined MCB/RCD (RCBO). Naturally, the related accessories and the circuit breaker busbars are important components in order to establish an efficient and safe distribution.
