Schrack Technik offers an unrivalled range of filterfans, cooling units, heaters, thermostats and hygrostats.

Air conditioning and heating units play a crucial role in ensuring optimum temperature control in enclosures.
Air conditioning ensures a stable operating environment for the electrical components in the enclosures. Heating devices ensure an optimum environment for the temperature-sensitive electronic devices, even in the cold seasons.

What are cooling appliances?

Cooling units are specially developed devices that are used in enclosures for temperature control and humidity regulation. They are used to stabilise the operating environment for electrical components and at the same time improve  the  service life  and  reliability of the devices. They fulfil the following main functions:

  • Temperature control: climate control units enable precise temperature control in enclosures because electrical components generate heat. If this heat is not dissipated effectively, overheating and damage can occur. Air conditioning units therefore ensure that the temperature is kept within a safe range, thereby extending the service life of the components and ensuring reliable operation.
  • Humidity control: In addition to temperature control, air conditioning units also provide effective humidity control. Too high humidity can lead to corrosion and short circuits, while too low humidity can favour static charges. By maintaining an optimum humidity level, the devices ensure that this is prevented and that the electrical components are protected and kept in the best possible condition.
  • Dust and dirt protection: Air conditioning units are also equipped with filters that filter out dust and dirt particles from the ambient air. This helps to keep your enclosures clean and free from dirt, which in turn improves the service life and performance of the components.

Areas of application for cooling appliances

Cooling units are used in a wide variety of areas, including

  • Industrial plants: Air conditioning units are indispensable in industrial plants where a large number of electrical devices and components are used. They protect the components from overheating and humidity. This improves the performance of the systems and minimises downtimes.
  • IT infrastructure: In data centres and IT infrastructures, air conditioning units are essential for controlling the temperature of servers, network equipment and other electronic devices. A stable operating temperature ensures the performance and reliability of IT systems and prevents potential damage due to overheating.

We offer a wide range of air conditioning solutions tailored to your needs:

Filter fans with IP54 seal

Our filter fans with integrated foamed seal IP54 are special ventilation units that ensure effective ventilation and protection against dust and moisture at the same time. Their special feature is the integrated, foamed seal, which enables a high IP54 protection class. Our range includes filter fans in various sizes as well as outlet filters and matching accessories.

Thermostats

Thermostats are used as important components in enclosures to monitor and control the temperature. They are used to control the temperature inside the enclosure and maintain it at a specific value. They record the ambient temperature and, if necessary, activate or deactivate connected fans or heaters.

Hygrostats and hygrotherms

Hygrostats and hygrotherms are devices that are used to precisely measure and control air humidity. More precisely, hygrostats are humidity controllers that monitor the relative humidity and keep it at a specific level. Hygrotherms measure and control both the humidity and the temperature in an environment.

Heaters and small heaters

Heaters and small heaters are also used in enclosures to regulate the temperature and ensure an optimum environment for the electronic devices inside. Heaters are used particularly in the winter months or in very cool environments. They help to prevent the formation of condensation and protect the devices from moisture. Small heaters enable a targeted supply of heat and are particularly useful where space is limited and in situations where precise temperature control is required.

Fan heaters

Fan heaters combine heating and fan functions for effective heat distribution in the enclosure. They generate warm air flows that circulate evenly in the enclosure, ensuring uniform temperature distribution. Fan heaters are ideal for enclosures in environments with low temperatures or in areas where a continuous supply of heat is required.
