Schrack LWL helps you to configure your trunk cable with ease. During configuration you can choose between three different distribution heads to get the solution best suited to your environment – from the waterproof moulded aluminium head to the slim-line plastic head for easy installation. All cables are available with all standard connector and fibre types. Our Schrack LWL tool makes the configuration and enquiry process a whole lot easier and faster. After you have selected the necessary components for your cable, as the result of the configuration process you will receive a code. You can then use this code any time to recall this exact cable, modify it as needed and reorder it.
In the Schrack LWL configurator, you first choose the fibre type of your cable, determine the fibre count of up to 144 strands, and then specify the desired cable length between the distribution heads. Next, define the distribution head and the connector type. You can select different connector types for each cable end. From the distribution head outward, the individual strands are divided into separate LSOH plastic tubes (fan-outs) and pre-terminated in a connector. You can choose between 0.9 mm and 1.8 mm Kevlar enforced fan-outs.

As soon as you are finished configuring your cable, the price is displayed at the end of the list.
To add the thus created cable to your parts list, just click on the button "Add Configuration to Parts List". The Parts List is available at the top right in this tool. If you click on the respective text, all conductors you created previously will be displayed, including their codes, which allows you to reuse the configurations.
After checking your Parts List, you can click on the button "Submit Enquiry" to send your configuration to your personal attendant, who can finalise your order if necessary and then order the product as specified.
As a last step you will receive a confirmation email containing all the details of your enquiry.
You need no splicing expert when you choose our pre-assembled trunk cables! They are equipped on both ends with a distribution head which separates the individual strands. They in turn are pre-terminated with installation ready FO connectors. The fibres are set off in pairs in 5-centimetre increments and protected with sheathing tubes. Every cable is shipped with its OTDR test report – acceptance testing is therefore no longer necessary.
The FO distribution system for all kinds of installations. It is robust and characterised by a particular ease of installation: route cable, open red clip, remove tube, and couple the connectors. Done!
