There is no actual technical device, switching device or socket module that can filter out nuclear power, i.e. electricity from nuclear power plants, directly from the socket or in the distribution board. Electricity comes from the power grid, which mixes electricity from different energy sources (such as nuclear, coal, wind, solar, etc.). The electricity grid makes it impossible to distinguish the electricity supplied to an individual consumer according to its energy source. The electricity that reaches you is therefore a mixture of all the sources that are fed into the grid. Electrical energy has no characteristics that indicate the energy source (e.g. nuclear power plant, wind turbine). It is therefore not possible to filter “nuclear power” from the grid. If you want to avoid your own electricity consumption being attributable to nuclear energy, you can choose green electricity tariffs from an electricity provider instead. These providers guarantee that they feed in the appropriate amount of electricity from renewable sources. One way to do this is to generate as much energy as possible yourself. Your electrician will be happy to offer you photovoltaic systems with storage for this purpose. He will preferably source the PV products from our Schrack range. The term “nuclear power filter” has therefore been chosen to provide information and to warn against misleading advertising or products. Your Schrack Team
