Environmental Management: ISO 14001
The international environmental management standard ISO 14001 defines requirements for a globally recognised environmental management system.
Its focus is on a continuous improvement process as a means to achieve the defined goals in relation to the environmental performance of the company.
Environment and Sustainability
Our work consumes energy and resources, and in so doing, it pollutes – albeit to a small extent – water, soil and air. To keep these effects to a minimum, we consider the following guidelines in our daily actions.
Environmental protection is management responsibility and individual responsibility
Every supervisor contributes to raising awareness and self-motivation of employees by being a living example of the environmental guidelines.
Sustainable efficient operations
This means that we use all resources as efficiently as possible and avoid environmental pollution such as waste, emissions and noise wherever appropriate and possible. With our innovative products, we contribute to the avoidance of non-renewable energy sources and reduce the CO2 impact on the ecology.
Openness to third parties
Through open information on all environmental issues, we build trust in our employees, customers, neighbours, authorities and media.
We comply with legal requirements as minimum standards. Our aim is to exceed the legal and regulatory requirements significantly, wherever this is reasonably possible.
As part of our economic capabilities, we are committed to continuous improvement in relation to environmental protection and in all other areas in order to reduce the environmental pollution caused by us.
Assessing the impact of our activities on the environment
We identify the environmental aspects of our current and future activities and assess the impact on water, soil and air in the local environment.
To keep the environmental impact in the event of accident or emergency-related incidents as low as possible, procedures have been developed to ensure proper and quick response by all those involved and affected.
Quality Management: ISO 9001
The obligation we have in accepting this certification is, on the one hand, to ensure the documentation of our work processes and, on the other hand, to continuously improve such processes.
The eight principles of quality management are
