The MFCO2 infrared CO2 measurement system detects the concentration of carbon dioxide in indoor air and sends this reading to a ventilation unit which will increase or decrease the supply of fresh air as appropriate. Some possible applications in the home and office:
SCHRACK’s CO2 indoor air sensor only measures the carbon dioxide content of the surrounding atmosphere, and not of any toxic or explosive vapours or gases. In this regard, “air quality” only relates to the carbon dioxide content of the surrounding air and not to any poisonous and explosive vapours or gases which may arise.
Moreover, the system can only measure carbon dioxide content between 0 and 3,000ppm. A carbon dioxide concentration of 3,000 ppm may not be life-threatening, but it does effect a person’s wellbeing. This device cannot measure carbon dioxide levels which are damaging to health, since such concentrations lie outside its range of measurement.
Only to be used indoors.
